Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED Cell) of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) organised a lecture cum interactive session by Mr. David Edick Jr. from USA.
David Edick Jr., an independent financial & management consultant focuses on energy commodity, Russia political risk and global financial markets.
A highly experienced international consultant, he has also been past president of the San Diego Vladivostok Sister City Society and has served on the commodity advisory board of the San Diego Diplomacy Council.
An expert public speaker on varied subject involving international/global affairs, finance, political risk and energy. Mr. David currently serves on the San Diego World Affairs Council Board as immediate past president.
In his enlightening address he gave useful tips to the students on becoming successful entrepreneurs, taking up start ups & becoming an opportunity provider rather than an opportunity seeker.
According to him there are ample number of opportunities & the students are required to be good listeners to avail those opportunities by taking risks and initiatives.
Financial planning, meticulous thinking, management skills and team coordination would bring positive results.
The Principal of the College, Dr. Fr. John P.J. in his address welcomed the guest and expressed his gratitude to Mr. David for coming from USA and sharing useful insights with the students.
He also extended his best wishes to all the participating students and told them to be focused, positive and start believing in themselves.
The Principal even mentioned about IPS Manish Shankar Sharma, a college alumnus, who has spent time with Mr. David and recommended him a young audience at BSSS.
Also present on the occasion were Vice Principal of the college Dr. Sr. Lissy Jose, In-Charge Publishing Cell Ms. Sunita Anand, ED Cell In-Charge Dr. Smitha Pillai, Research Cell In-Charge Mr. Rutwik & other faculty members.
Towards the end of the program the students cleared their doubts related to entrepreneurship by asking questions to the eminent speaker Mr. David Edick Jr.
