The prestigious Bhopal School of Social Sciences organised Beating the Retreat and The Piping Ceremony for its NCC Cadets in an ambiences of discipline and patriotic fervour. The Chief Guest of the occasionBrig. Anil Hudda, Group Commander 4MPNCC, Bhopal inspected the Parade in a Gypsy Car, comprising of 107 Cadets of BSSS, along with the Principal BSSS, Dr. Fr.John PJ. The cadets were also accorded with ranks.
NCC Achievers were felicitated for their accomplishments. Senior Under Officer, Harsh Chaturvedi has been selected in Republic Day Camp, Under Officer Aditi Kichlu got selected for NCC Cultural Exchange Programme and went to Russia, Under Officer, Rohan Gawale has been selected for Camp at IMA, Dehradoon and Under Officer, Shivam Tiwari attended the camp at OTA, Kamti.
The cadets showed discipline and mutual cooperation during the Oath Taking Ceremony to serve the country selflessly. Girl Cadets were also there in the Platoons and the parade marched with the beats of the band.
Principal, Dr. Fr. John PJ said that through NCC, the students are able to recognize their inherent talent and groom themselves accordingly to serve the nation for a greater cause.
Brig. Hudda praised the Cadets of BSSS that they have been perfect in their attitude and aptitude for NCC.
BSSS,NCC Officer, Nasir Ali informed that the cadets are trained regularly and because of their perseverance and hard work many of our cadets have won international acclaim.
To mark the event, The BSSS NCC Drill Square Shourya path was also inaugurated.
