Diagnostic Test is a computer based test; scores of which are solely used for identification of aspects where students need significant improvement. The objective of this test is to assess admitted students on their ability in basic mathematics and English language. It sets the ground for the college to prepare and advice bridge courses and other add-on courses, which help students , supplement their regular studies.
The college offers Bridge Courses as short term crash courses to equip students with fundamentals of new subjects for the stream opted for.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell helps to maintain the momentum of quality consciousness. The IQAC plans, guides and monitors quality assurance and quality enhancement activities and serves to advise the Principal on academic and infrastructural issues. The IQAC is a driving force for ushering in quality by working out intervention strategies to remove deficiencies and enhance efficiency.
Outstation girl students can avail safe, secure and well-run hostel facilities at the Pushpa Women's Hostel on the campus. The residents of the hostel only need to pay for food and maintenance. No rent is charged from them.
Anti Ragging Cell
Anti Ragging Cell not only helps to make newcomers welcome and comfortable, but also plays a proactive role in solving student problems. The whole idea is to prevent student harassment and discomfort rather than wait for a problem to arise.
Grievance and Redressal Cell
The major objective of this Cell is to address the problems and grievances faced by the student community. The Cell works towards building a healthy relationship between the freshmen and senior students as well as to help further the strong and mutually reciprocal relationship between the teachers and students.
The Women's Cell of the college is instrumental in promoting awareness and empowering women. It also addresses the complaints and grievances of the girls students. Its activities include group discussions on issues related to women and addresses by experts.
Internal Complaint Committee
As per the guidelines of UGC and Supreme Court an Anti Sexual Harassment Cell has been established by the college, to provide a healthy and congenial environment to all the staff members and students. This Cell acts decisively to prevent and redress grievances of sexual harassment for all genders.
The Discipline Committee plays an important role in helping create an environment, which is favourable for growth and learning. It deals with all matters of indiscipline on the campus with firmness and efficiency.
Career Counselling & Placement Cell
The Placement Cell addresses a very urgent need of students for part time summer jobs or full time jobs. In the year 2016-17, a total of 504 students from across all streams were selected for placements by 25 national and international companies, spanning sectors like IT, Management, FMCG, E-Commerce, Banking, Insurance, Outsourcing etc. The Cell also organizes regular training programmes for job-aspirants.
Psychological Guidance & Counselling
The Guidance and Counselling Cell is sensitive to the anxiety and need of this delicately poised age group of 18-21 within which most of our students fall. Students are encouraged to use the services of this Cell to tide over their personal problems. Regular counselling facility is available on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 am to 12 noon.
Healthy and Safety Measures
The college takes several measures to ensure health and safety of its staff and students. These include regular medical checkups, maintaining records of blood groups and a strict ban on smoking and chewing of paan and tobacco. The presence of security guards 24 x 7 ensures safety on campus.
Inter Religious Dialogue
The Under Graduates are at an impressionable stage and the college endeavours to foster peace, a secular attitude and respect for, and an understanding of different religions through Inter Religious Dialogue.
Parent Teacher Association
Parents are encouraged to meet the faculty members to facilitate cooperation and collaboration in the work of education of our students. Apart from the annual meet, meetings are organised either in common or respective departments throughout the year. Besides parents are free and welcome to meet the staff or the Principal whenever they wish to do so. This also helps to maintain quality checks on our work.
Principal / Student Interaction
Regular weekly interaction of Principal with students of all classes by rotation, helps to facilitate better communication between students and administration, as well as to stay close to the pulse and needs of students. This has been immensely successful in understanding the needs of students and also passing on important information to them with the right focus and emphasis.
The college has proactive Alumni whose presence is a motivation for our present students. They also lend a helping hand in many of our ventures. An important feature of our relationship with the alumni is the organising of regular sessions by high achievers for the benefit of our students.
