Introduction

BSSS Dev-Aahaaram, is a noble initiative of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences, which is a fruitful result of the vision of our respected principal Dr. Fr. John PJ. This noble initiative was started on 14th September 2018 with a trial and from 15th September 2018 onwards we stared our service. Under "Dev-Aahaaram" we distribute morning breakfast including "Poha", Biscuit Packets and Hot Tea, to the family members of Patients at AIIMS, Bhopal.

Daily around 4:45 AM at our clean and hygienic Kitchen, food is prepared fresh and with the help of student volunteers, it is packed with lots of love. We also do pray for well being before leaving to AIIMS in our Dev-Aahaaram Food Truck at 5:50 AM. We distribute the food packets and Tea outside Gate No. 3 of AIIMS, Bhopal. People stand in queue waiting for our food since 5:30 AM. After reaching there we start our food distribution service from 6:00 AM. For older people and differently-abled we personal serve diem food packets without making them to stand in queue. This way we try to inculcate feeling of caring among our student volunteers. To maintain cleanliness, we also carry two dustbins with us and our student volunteers keep reminding people to put their trash, empty food packet and disposable tea cups in them.
