MSME Idea Hackathon 2.0

5th December, 2022 - MSME Idea Hackathon 2.0 is a national level innovative business idea competition sponsored by MSME. This is the second in continuation to the MSME Idea Hackathon series. There were fifteen different themes of five sectors for which the innovative ideas were invited through the MSME web portal. The competition was launched on 02-10-2022 with the last day to apply being 14-11-2022. The winning idea(s) will be getting a reward of `15 lakhs which will be used in the development of their business and will be funded through the Host Institute selected while applying.

Evaluation Procedure:

1^st Stage: Evaluation by the Host Institute

2^nd Stage: Evaluation by MoMSME

3^rd Stage: Selection of ideas by DESC

4^th Stage: Final selection by Project Monitoring & Advisory Committee

BSSS as a Host Institute under MSME Innovation scheme received eight unique ideas from various applicants and as a HI the first stage evaluation had to be done by BSSS Incubation Centre. The first stage evaluation was scheduled on 05-12-2022 at 02:00 pm in BSSS Incubation Centre and five industry experts were invited to evaluate the ideas; so were the applicants invited to present their idea to the screening committee. Out of the eight applicants, five presented their ideas and of which two applicants presented their ideas virtually.

1. Shivani Shinde presented her business idea first, which was related to starting a pharma distribution business.
2. Aryansh Vyas was the second applicant invited to present the business idea and he along with his team presented their business idea based on e-vehicle, which they presented virtually.

• Ashok Choudaha was invited third to presented the idea, he was accompanied by Dr. Anmol Choudaha and their idea was building a speciality hospital in the city of Katni (Madhya Pradesh). They also presented their idea virtually.

1. Ravi Khandelwal and his team then presented their idea which was based on the theme Supply Chain Management. They have an existing business which they want to take online which in turn will increase their supply as per the market demand.
2. Dharmendra Gautam was the last participant present for the first stage evaluation. His idea is based on the theme sustainable fashion, through which he wants to generate employment for women.

Out of the five ideas presented, the evaluation committee shortlisted only one idea, that is of Mr. Aryansh Vyas’s Vamos Electrica for an innovative and unique concept which was from e-vehicle category.
