22nd July 2022 - IIC organized Regional Meet for HEIs who have established IIC in their Institute on 22nd July, 2022 at Oriental College, Bhopal. Four members of The BSSS Incubation Centre who are Dr. Smitha Pillai, Dr. Shumayela Hasan, Ms. Geetanjali Khambra and Mr. Arun Panicker participated in the meeting. More than 350+ representatives from 150+ HEIs with established IIC had participated in the meet.
In the starting session the representatives of the IIC detailed on India’s global performance with I&E; various programs such as YUKTI, KAPILA, ARIIA and more; I&E at school level; sectors where Institute can target innovations.
Post the session of IIC Representatives, the next session had Four Tracks and each track was attended by one of our Four members. In these sessions various speakers from HEIs who have established successful IICs presented the journey of their IICs, their achievements, their operational methods and much more. The tracks are mentioned below:
Track 1: Creation and Sustaining an I&E Ecosystem in HEI
Track 2: Visualising and Developing Action Plan for an I&E Ecosystem in HEI
Track 3: Benchmarking, Measuring I&E Ecosystem in HEI and Impact Creation
Track 4: IP and Technology Transfer
Simultaneously a round table discussion also occurred in which around 20 incubators, investors and eco-system enablers from the M.P. region were part of it. This was organized to strengthen their relation with Educational Institutes.
By participating in the meeting, the participating IIC members of the BSSS Incubation Centre acquired knowledge and guidance on how to drive the operations or activities of an Incubation Centre on a successful path. Which will also benefit everyone associated with the Incubation Centre.
