The Science department strives to engage the students in learning that extends beyond the classroom setting through community partnerships and extracurricular activities. Faculty of the department have a sound mastery of the subject area they teach, possess a genuine love of learning, and maintain up-to-date information in their respective fields through ongoing professional growth to include changing trends, technology and innovative pedagogy. Faculty of science comprises of three departments- Mathmatics & Statistics, Chemistry & Physics. The Science faculty of BSSS College believes in challenging students to achieve their best and help them to reach their highest potential through hard work consistent, determination and patience.

Chemistry Laboratory
The Department of Science is one of the most learning oriented booming department of the College. It was established in 2018.
Our team of faculty is motivated and with a strong sense of commitment towards teaching and research. The department has the goal to teach beyond the books and learn from everyday examples. Our students reflect this with good results in the UG program. The department is well equipped with laboratories for conducting research experiments for Students.
The Chemistry laboratory is equipped with various research equipment’s such as, Spectrophotometer, pH Meter, Conductivity meter, Potentiometer, Magnetic Stirrers with Hot Plate, Double Distillation Assembly, Muffle Furnace, Hot Air Oven to list down a few.
Physics Laboratory
Department of Science BSSS, College Bhopal have state of the art laboratory for physics with updated and calibrated equipments for inquisitive students who are willing to create new collective knowledge and foster the next generation of scientific leaders. We harness the best of modern technology to support the intellectual curiosity of our students and faculty and to bestow best laboratory experience. The lab is well known for its ready to use equipment. In this lab, many circuits like amplifiers, communication units, modulators, filters, can be easily constructed and results can be analyzed, using the available equipment. The lab is equipped with CRO ’s, advanced IC’s, signal processing units, analog and digital logic training kits, variable and fixed voltage sources etc.
