The college caters to the learning needs of the range of students coming from Hindi medium and vernacular backgrounds as well as rural areas. The Lab is equipped with state of the art technology and uses Edu Tech software for the BBC English Edge programme, which consists of 5 levels from basic to advance. The Lab has 24 workstations and 1 trainer station. Students from all faculties are encouraged to make extensive use of the lab to improve their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and fluency as well as their communication skills.
At the end of each level the students have the option of taking the English Edge Exam after which they receive certificates from Edu Tech. On completion of all 5 levels they are entitled to take the BBC English Edge Exam and receive the BBC Certificates.
