Curriculum Currency
Various sections are made on the basis of diagnostic test done at the time of admission to identify the academic level of students. The Department undertakes bridge courses in Accountancy, Economics, English/ Communication Skills and Personality development. Besides this language lab facility is also availed by the students. The department uses resources such as the Teachers Resource Centre, Library, Computer Lab and Research Cell. The faculty members make full use of video, youtube,smart boards, internet, PPT's & web-based learning methods in teaching along with the traditional methods of class room teaching. The department is constantly involved in doing the Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation of the students by using different modules for evaluation in the form of Group Discussions, Quizzes, Viva-Voce based on text, MCQ, Open Book Tests & Presentations. Independent Projects are encouraged on various topics of management at the undergraduate level. The students are prepared and promoted to undertake research, organizing events, employment projects and internships for tapping various career options after their undergraduate studies. The students use Wi-Fi facilities for their assignments, case studies. Apart from regular classes, tutorial and remedial classes are held for the students.

Going Beyond Curriculum
The department from time to time designs and conducts various programs and events for confidence building. The faculty trains the students beyond curriculum through swayam courses, research and participation in extra curricular activities.
The department conducts field visits and industrial visits to various industrial units in and around Bhopal to upgrade the knowledge of students and bridge the gap between course content and practical aspects in production management, process industries, material management, quality control and HR policies. The frequent programs help perennial development of the students, increase their acumen in applications, and eventually make them cognizant.
The erudite speakers from corporate and industries are invited to share their expertise and reveal the practicalities of work life. The consummate picture of work life through experts is followed by interactive sessions where student's queries are answered.
The students are specially trained by conducting in house training sessions or workshops which prepares them to openly compete in National Event, Seminars, Group Discussions, Quiz competitions and Debates. The students are encouraged to undertake independent research, extra curricular events and present papers in conferences and seminars.

Social Outreach Programme
It is our effort to inculcate among the students the core human values of social responsibility, mutual respect and empathy towards weaker section of the society. With this objective in mind the student volunteers from the department under the banner of social outreach mentor the children from associated school in the areas of education, career counseling, personality development, moral / social values, health care & hygiene.
