Dear Parents and Well-wishers,

For the past 54 years, we have upheld a proud tradition as one of Madhya Pradesh’s leading higher education institutions—empowering thousands of students each year. This year, too, has been no exception, as we continue to give wings to the aspirations and futures of our learners. We have had normal admissions and the year took off quite smoothly now that we have established ourselves as pioneers in implementing NEP 2020. The odd semester exams too are over and the performance of the students has been beyond expectations proving the dedication of our teachers and other staff which is beyond words. Congratulations to our students, staff, and parents on the successful completion of the semester!

BSSS has continued to experience positive growth year after year. This year, our campus is enriched by students coming from 14 states pan India, along with a healthy and balanced gender distribution—reflecting our expanding national reach and inclusive educational environment.  I extend my sincere gratitude to the senior students for upholding and handing down, with steadfast conviction, the secular ethos that guides our work. It is this very foundation that enables us to contribute to the making of a truly secular nation—one where every individual enjoys equal opportunities to learn, grow, and flourish. In keeping with our commitment to support every student, including those from economically weaker backgrounds, we offer substantial in-house scholarships amounting to nearly ₹20–25 lakhs each year. Our dedicated alumni also contribute generously to this noble endeavour, strengthening our collective mission to make education accessible to all.

Let me relive those proud moments while I share our accolades with you. Recounting here some of the remarkable achievements our students have earned this year. Among them, NSS volunteer Rimi Sharma had the distinguished opportunity to participate at Kartavya Path, a moment of great honour for the institution. Divyansh Saini from BCA was recognised as an NPTEL Star—a rare distinction—and his aspiration to complete ten additional courses has been fully supported by the college through financial assistance. Ojisha Pande, also from BCA, secured the First Prize at the State Level in the ISEA Competition, showcasing exceptional merit. Ashuthosh Puthenbagkar, an NCC cadet from the 2022–25 batch, successfully cleared the NDA examination on his very first attempt. And above all, our Girls’ Football Team brought laurels to the college by emerging as Runners-up in a National Tournament held in Jaipur.

Education today presents many challenges, yet the trust and conviction people place in BSSS continue to stand strong despite the odds. Sharing with you a message I once received from an alumnus which has stayed with me, for it is both encouraging for us and, I believe, inspiring for you as well. I quote:

“Sitting at the Bhojpur Club after our game of cricket, one of us remarked on how beautifully BSSS has evolved and how well the campus is maintained. Well done, Fr. Principal—keep it up.”

Such words are more than appreciation—they reflect the larger public sentiment, which is invaluable to any institution. Positive affirmations like these motivate us to continue striving for excellence. Thank you once again!

We are making steady progress—advancing consistently while also meeting every academic timeline set by the higher education system, whether it is the timely completion of the syllabus, the smooth conduct of examinations, or prompt declaration of results. Alongside these academic milestones, we continue to provide rich co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities for holistic character building. This has been possible only because of everyone’s cooperation and understanding. Along the way, small challenges may arise, but let us choose not to remain spectators. Instead, let us step forward as active contributors, engaging in open and constructive dialogue across the table to resolve issues together.
