CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH UPSKILLS

Upskill from Cambridge is the latest state-of-the-art technology-based language assessment to be delivered on mobile phones, offered by the producers of IELTS. The test is a completely mobile, remotely proctored English exam delivered on Android phones driven using artificial intelligence. Upskill tests all four skills: Reading and Listening, Speaking, and Writing.   

Being completely mobile, the test offers an extremely convenient way for candidates to take an assessment anywhere anytime, and get instant results through an official report from an internationally recognized examination board.  This will indicate the candidate’s overall score and your score for each skill using the CEFR level scale. The international standard for describing language ability is the Common European Framework of             Reference for Languages (CEFR). It describes language ability on a six-point scale, from A1 for beginners, up to C2 for those who have mastered a language, and has a set of CAN-DO statements. The Upskill report will tell the candidate and the organization what each score means in terms of English language ability. 

The whole test is delivered in a chunked format – this means that once started the test can be taken in small 15-20 min portions over a 5-day period, whenever the candidate has time, and is remotely proctored for authentication.
