Happiness is one of the most sought-after and yet mysterious concepts in the world. We spend an enormous time chasing after grand things in pursuit of happiness and lose sight of the meaningful things in life.
Understanding the global need of mindful living, The Bhopal School of Social Sciences has collaborated with the Rekhi Foundation to start a Centre of Happiness right at the Department of Psychology. Rekhi Foundation is an international foundation that has happiness centers across the globe, including California State University, Sacramento, University of Waterloo, Canada and IIT Kharagpur.
One of the offerings of this collaboration is a certificate course in “The Pursuit of Happiness”, taught by the faculty trained from IIT Kharagpur’s Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness.
The certificate course “The Pursuit of Happiness” aims to nurture happiness in academic settings through experiential learning and a research-based, practical curriculum. The course is geared towards imparting a globally calibrated syllabus that is versatile in all future occupational settings.
