BSSS Celebrated National Sports Day 2026 with an Enthusiastic Marathon

The Department of Physical Education and Sports at The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) organized the BSSS Marathon on August 29, 2026, as part of the National Sports Day 2026 celebrations. The event was held under the national theme "Khelega Bharat, Jeetega Bharat", aiming to promote fitness, sportsmanship, and an active lifestyle among students.

College students and faculty members enthusiastically participated in the marathon, celebrating the spirit of sports, fitness, and healthy living. The event began with reporting at 6:30 AM, followed by the official flagging off of the race. Ironman athlete Mr. Sameer Hashmi flagged off the marathon. His presence inspired the participants to embrace fitness, endurance, discipline, and determination, infusing immense enthusiasm and motivation into the event.

The purpose of this initiative was to encourage students to make physical activity an essential part of their daily lives, while highlighting the importance of fitness, teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship. The enthusiastic participation reflected the college's commitment to fostering a strong sports culture and active lifestyle.
