PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE AWARD CEREMONY HELD AT BSSS
The Professional Certificate Award Ceremony was organized in the Bhopal School of Social Sciences on 6th October 2023. The ceremony began with the echo of the marching band followed by the soulful rendition of the College Anthem.
A spirit of unity and dynamism filled the air as the Grand Ceremony commenced with the Lighting of the auspicious Lamp of Knowledge which was done by the Chief Guest, His Grace Most Rev. Dr A.A.S. Durairaj SVD, Archbishop of Bhopal, Chairman, BSSS, Dr. Fr. John P.J. Principal- BSSS, Vice Principal- Dr. Sr. Sonia Kurian, Dean Academics- Dr. Jomi Panithas, Staff Secretary- Anuradha Goswami and two student representatives from the college.
Chief Guest of the ceremony His Grace Most Rev., Dr. A.A.S. Durairaj was accorded a sapling. Dr. Fr. John P.J. in his address encouraged and reminded students that they are the torchbearers of all the values that BSSS stands for and urged them to take responsibility with commitment, and integrity and gave them a speech regarding upholding the legacy of the college.
The awardees kept the sense of promise to work earnestly and uphold the honor and glory of the institution while receiving their awards and certificates from the Archbishop, Dr. A.A.S. Durairaj. The conferring reflected their zeal and dedication to execute their work in the upcoming lives.
Students turned their tassels from left to right symbolizing their graduation from one level of learning to another signifying their status of officially being graduated and celebrated their achievement with pomp.
The passed-out student followed a custom of thanksgiving by extending Guru Dakshina, to the Principal Dr Fr. John P.J. who is indeed a torchbearer of the esteemed institution. His Grace Most Rev. Dr. A.A.S. Durairaj motivated the students with his benign words and blessings for always shining like a star and gave the importance of leadership qualities and tips on how to turn out to be a leader. He also encouraged students to always walk on the correct path and be the change.
The ceremony culminated with a vote of thanks by the Dean, Academics, Dr. Fr. Jomy Panithus which created a high degree of earnestness and passion to motivate students. The solemn ceremony came to a closure with the National anthem which reverberated the ambiance with patriotic fervor.
