Dr. Fr. John P.J. Principal, The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) College has successfully signed MoU with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) on Tuesday at NSDC HQ, New Delhi.
NSDC endeavours to create a sustainable and enabling skill ecosystem. In order to foster skill development across the country, NSDC provides funding support to enterprises, companies and organisations to build capacity by extending resources, technical assistance, thought leadership and knowledge management. Playing the role of a market-maker, NSDC is responsible for enhancing and strengthening the skill development initiatives and ensuring long-term stability and spurring growth.
With a Training Partner (TP) network of over 500 affiliates, 38 industry-led sector skill councils (SSCs) and various enabling systems and initiatives, NSDC is a major contributor to the Skill India Mission.
National Skill Development Corporation provides support to build scalable and profitable vocational training institutions across the country. It also acts as a catalyst in skill development by providing funding/technical assistance to enterprises, companies and organisations, associated with skill development. NSDC has played a pivotal role in developing various types of partnership models, which includes funded, non-funded and innovative partnership.
The status of a NSDC Training Partner allows the institute to be amongst over 574 institutes in PAN India, to uplift the scope of skill development for the underpriviledged youths in the country, through up-skilling and certifications as per the NSDC compliances.
BSSS being a prominent institute in the Central India will enhance the qualitative standards of the graduate and post graduate students through skill development programs according to the taste and caliber of the students. The association will open various ventures of collaborations with industrial ventures who promote and propagate similar domain of work. Under the NSDC banner BSSS will certify (through SSC) the following nature of programs: IT-ITES, Tourism & Hospitality, Management & Entrepreneurship, Healthcare, Media, Banking and Financial Sector and Apparels.
