Investiture Ceremony 2022-23 Held at BSSS

“Leadership is not a position or a title, it is action and example”

 

BSSS - The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion wherein all the young students are well prepared to don the mantle of leadership and responsibility while carrying it out with utmost dedication. In order to scale the heights and reach the Pinnacle of success, The Bhopal School of Social Sciences, always strives to inculcate a sense of responsibility and commitment among the students with their heads held high, ready to shoulder responsibilities as leaders. With the beginning of new academic session, the Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2022-23 was held on 24 September 2022 in the Jubilee Auditorium of BSSS to inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, a college prefectorial board.

The ceremony began with the echo of the marching band followed by the soulful rendition of the College Anthem.

A spirit of unity and dynamism filled the air as the Grand Ceremony commenced with the Lighting of the auspicious Lamp of Knowledge which was done by Dr. Fr. John P.J. Principal, BSSS, Vice Principal Dr. Sr. Sonia Kurian & Certificate Course in charge Sister Shalom. The lamp signified the removal of darkness and continuous upward movement of the flame denoted a path of wisdom and divinity. The Incessant mounting of the flames symbolized the virtue and holiness in the ceremony.

The welcome was addressed by the Principal, BSSS and administered the oath to the respective post holders. They pledged to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities, as BSSS believes that the child centric approach would frame a responsible citizen.

The ambience witnessed the sworn to imbibe the spirit of 'Soaring High'. Fr. Dr. John P.J.  also encouraged and reminded them that they are the torch bearers of all the values that BSSS stands for and urged them to take responsibility with commitment and integrity & gave a speech to the children regarding upholding the legacy of the college and the importance of leadership qualities and tips on how turn out to be a leader. He also encouraged students to always walk on the correct path and be the change. He addressed that being a leader is a vital role and that the new Student Council would have ample responsibilities to shoulder.

The newly elected student council members pledged to work earnestly and uphold the honor and glory of the institution while receiving their prestigious Flag and badge from their respective HoDs. Their zeal reflected their confidence and dedication to execute their work. 

It was a proud moment for all the Parents to witness their children being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders.

The ceremony was concluded with the vote of thanks which created high degree of earnestness and passion to motivate students.
