BSSS signed an MoU with Special Olympics Bharat

The Bhopal School of Social Sciences has signed an MoU with Special Olympics Bharat under the guidance of Dipankar Banerjee Regional Director of Special Olympics Madhya Pradesh, Ehitesham Uddin Sports Director of Special Olympics Madhya Pradesh signed this MoU with Principal Dr. Father John PJ with an objective to provide an opportunity for mentally challenged persons to showcase their physical and mental abilities through competitions so that they can secure their place in society. Also, they can get acceptance in society with their disabilities.

Special Olympics Bharat is a Charitable Trust registered under the Indian Trust Act 1882 using sports as a catalyst to transform the lives of children and adults with Intellectual disabilities. It provides year-round training in sports and hosts athletic competitions for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Participating athletes seek opportunities through their work to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and participate in sharing gifts with a global community.
