BSSS Organizes an Industrial Visit to L.M. Bakers

The Department of Commerce at The Bhopal School of Social Sciences, Bhopal, has organised an industrial visit to L.M. Bakers, a Contract Manufacturing Unit (CMU) of Parle Biscuits Pvt. Ltd., Mandideep, Bhopal, on Wednesday, 14 October 2026. The visit was organised for students of B. Com III and V Semester (Foreign Trade). The visit was led by dedicated faculty members Dr. Ramandeep Kaur and Dr. Amrita Sahu. The objective of the visit was to provide practical exposure to real-world business operations, understand industry practices, create networking opportunities, enhance learning, offer career guidance, and develop soft skills. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industrial practices by familiarising students with the functioning of a manufacturing unit. It helped students understand various aspects of production, operational management, quality control, packaging, and supply chain management in the food processing industry.
