World Food Day Celebrations Showcase the Power of Millets in BSSS
In celebration of the World Food Day on October 16, 2023, the Women Cell, in association with the Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation Cell of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences, organized a special Food Exhibition Cum Sale event. The theme focused on highlighting the immense potential of millet as a "Miracle food for the Future".

The Food Exhibition Cum Sale showcased a wide variety of millet-based food products, ranging from traditional dishes to innovative recipes. Visitors had the opportunity to taste and purchase dishes such as millet cupcakes, brownies, litti chokha, pizza, and many more creative delicacies.

Mr Kartik Chaturvedi, head of the Millet Unit of RNTU was the special guest of the event. He has given insightful thought about why millet is a miracle food. Ms. Ranjeet Kaur, Dr. Manju Mehta and Dr. Rita Raj were the Judges of the event.

The first prize was won by the team ofMaisara Khan, ZoobiyaShahana and Ritu Yadav, the second prize was bagged by Aanchal Tripathi, Arshpreet Kaur and Anshika Rai Team, the third prize won by Richa Kumari and the Consolation prize taken away by Jagrati Wadhwani.
