Under student internships offered by Madhya Pradesh Community Police, Bhopal BSSS students performed street plays addressing the rising crime rates, domestic violence against women, child abuse, and cybercrime in society.

Under the able leadership of Dr Manju Mehta, Public Relation Officer BSSS
about 45 students of BSSS Mayar Theatre Group, divided into four teams, performed 500 plays continuously for 24 hours on the topic of violence-free society. The performance started at 5:00 a.m. on 2 October and ended at 4:30 a.m. on 3 October 2023. Through this rare feat, they aimed to get their names registered in the World Book of Records.
Dr Father John PJ., the principal of BSSS, congratulated Dr Manju Mehta and the students and lauded their exemplary efforts. He stated that the street plays performed at different locations in and around the city will undoubtedly, raise public awareness of social responsibilities.
Mr Harinarayana Chari Mishra, the Commissioner of Police, Bhopal, PSO, DGP Dr Vineet Kapoor and DCP HQ Sudhir Kumar Agarwal appreciated the unwavering commitment and tireless efforts of the students. They thanked the students for their contribution to creating public awareness against crimes in Bhopal and surrounding areas.
