Annual awards ceremony of BSSS Library concluded

The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS College, Bhopal) has organized its annual prize distribution ceremony for the events organized by the Library committee of the college on 04 April 2024. The rich library of BSSS College carries more than 40,000 books, 30 Journals, 45 Magazines, and many E-learning resources like Delnet, Inflibnet and EBSCO. The college librarian Mr. Jibin Thomas informed that in this academic session 2023-24 the committee has conducted various events for the students in which more than 500 students participated and won the prizes.

In the event, College Principal Dr Fr John P J addressed the students and told them about the importance of books and libraries in learning and development. Ms. Shikha Malhotra, faculty and member of the library committee informed that Mr. KarrtikPawar and Ms. Bhawna Shrivastava of BCA 1st Semester secured 1st prize in the Bibliophile
competition, Ms. Shreyanshi Pandey of B.Com 3rd Semester secured 1st prize in Online quiz competition, Ms. Samriddhi Shukla of BBA 6th Semester secured 1st prize in a Book review competition and Mr. Tongminlun of BA Psychology 3rd Semester secured the 1st Position in Tales of Imagery. The enthusiasm and participation of the students from all the streams were highly appreciated.
