The Bhopal School of Social Sciences celebrated its traditional day on 8 February 2025. The event's theme was “Reviving Traditions Uniting Hearts” with an object to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of India. The programme begins with the lighting of the lamp. The artistic segment of this event depicted different forms of classical and folk dances based on five regions of India. The inaugural dance “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” was a devotional performance that highlighted the fact that the world is one family. Followed by a welcome address by Principal Dr Fr. John P.J. While giving formal welcome to the guests, Fr. Principal also appreciated the theme of the program. The second dance was (Poorvanchal Tarang) showcasing the eastern region. “Dravidian Talaam” was the third dance based on dances of the southern region. The western region of India was highlighted by the fourth dance “Rangeela Jhankaar”. “Uttranchal Rangriti” the soulful folk rhythms reflected the Northern region of India. The central region of our country was represented through a dance performance entitled “Malwa ke Thumke”.
More than a hundred students participated in the event appearing in traditional attire depicting the north, south, east, west, and central region of India. There were four rounds of ramp walks by the students based on which they were conferred with various titles.

Various stalls based on regional cuisine added a delightful and delicious flavor in the event. Dr. Renu Bhadoria In-Charge of the event extended vote of thanks. The Traditional Day 2K25 was organized by the Department of Commerce under the able leadership of Dr Ashish Dilraj supported by members of the Department.
