The Two-Day International Conference on Transforming Knowledge: A Multidisciplinary Research on Integrative Learning Across Disciplines (MRILAD) 2025, organized by The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS), concluded successfully on February 15, 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from scholars, researchers, and academicians across the country and the globe, marking a significant step toward fostering integrative learning and interdisciplinary research.
The conference featured thought-provoking keynote addresses, insightful panel discussions, and groundbreaking research presentations, all aimed at shaping the future of education and interdisciplinary research. The event successfully fostered collaboration and inspired fresh perspectives on contemporary challenges in various domains of study, attracting 728 participants from 21 Indian states, 98 cities, and 10 countries.
The success of the conference was further enhanced by the benign presence of Dr. Father John PJ, Vice Principal Sr. Sonia Kurien, and Dean Academics Father Jomi Panithas, who provided their invaluable support and guidance throughout the event. Father Jomi Panithas in his welcome speech highlighted the importance of cross-disciplinary dialogue and appreciated the intellectual exchange, critical discussions, and innovative research presentations during the conference.
The conference comprised five tracks covering commerce, management, social sciences, holistic development, and technological advancements, with over 126 papers published. As a part of the conference’s academic contributions, BSSS Publication Cell released 5 edited books, featuring a wide range of multidisciplinary research. Dr Sr. Sonia Kurian launched the edited volumes of the compiled research articles presented during the conference, offering a rich collection of diverse perspectives, innovative ideas, and interdisciplinary insights.
Dr Tomaž Grušovnik, a full professor and research counselor at the University of Primorska, Slovenia in his valedictory address highlighted the significance of interdisciplinary research and called for the fresh perspectives on contemporary challenges Dr. Lila Simon, the convener of the conference, expressed her gratitude to all participants, speakers, and organizers for their invaluable contributions, stating, that the overwhelming response and active participation exceeded the organizer's expectations, henceforth reinforcing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in education and research.
