National Science Day is celebrated every year on 28th February to commemorate the remarkable discovery of Raman effect on this day by Sir C. V. Raman, the Scientific Nobel Laureate of India. Department of Science at The Bhopal School of Social Sciences is going to celebrate the National Science Week 2025 from 27th Feb to 05th March 2025 to praise this remarkable day. The theme for National Science Day 2025 is Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science & lnnovation for Viksit Bharat. The series of events in the science week comprises of Expert talks, Quiz competition, poster presentation and many more. The events organized by the Department of Science, BSSS is broadly Catalyzed and Supported by NCSTC, DST, GOI & M.P.C.S.T, Bhopal. On 28th February, 2025 Department organized a very informative session by Prof. Rahul M. Srivastava from the Biological Science and Engineering Department, MANIT Bhopal. The topic of the talk is “Importance of Science and Technology for Viksit Bharat.” The talk prominently emphasized the technological and scientific upgradation roadmap of the Govt. of India, envisioned by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The talk was very informative and covered vast prospective of “India’s vision 2047” for advancement in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Digital India, Space Missions, Defense and Aviation Technology upgradation for Nation’s self-reliance.
