The Department of Management of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS), Bhopal, in collaboration with Synergy University, Moscow, successfully conducted a special session on “Modern Management.” This program marked a significant milestone as it was the institution’s first international certificate course collaboration.
The event was held in the seminar hall of BSSS and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. The session commenced with a warm welcome, followed by an address by Dean Academics, Father Jomi Panithas, who highlighted that such international collaborations provide valuable global exposure and open new learning avenues for students.
The keynote speaker for the session was Professor Svetlana Egorova from Synergy University, who delivered an insightful and engaging lecture on modern management practices. Her simple and interactive approach enabled students to gain meaningful insights into contemporary management concepts.
This was followed by an interactive session. Students who successfully completed the one-year certificate course were awarded their certificates.
Vice Principal Sister Leema Jacob remarked that the collaboration marks not only a new beginning but also enhances students’ knowledge, preparing them to meet global standards with confidence.
The dignitaries present on the occasion included Head of the Department, Prof. Smitha Pillai; Academic In-charge, Prof. Sheeba Joseph; Certificate Courses In-charge, Prof. Rashmeet Kaur Malhi; and Certificate In-charge of Modern Management, Dr. Mahima Dubey. Other faculty members were also present.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks to all the guests, faculty members, and the organizing team, along with the expectation of conducting many more such international collaborations in the future.
