BSSS wins Overall Championship under Annual Sports Event of Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh

Under the annual sports calendar of Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department and Barkatullah Vishwavidhyalaya, the Physical Education Department of BSSS College organised various inter-collegiate, district and divisional sports competitions.

As a part of this programme, Badminton (Women-Men), Basketball (Women-Men) and Football (Women-Men) matches were successfully organised in the college. In the division level Badminton (Women-Men), Basketball (Women-Men), Football (Women-Men) and Handball Women's competitions, BSSS was declared the winner. Subsequently, BSSS won the overall championship.

These competitions are significant as Barkatullah Vishwavidhyalaya selects its team through this, which finally participates in West Zone competitions in All India University Games. Dr. Vishal Singh Sengar, HoD of Physical Education, said that the students of all the districts and divisional colleges participated with great enthusiasm in these sports competitions as they were held after two years due to Corona. He further stated that it seems the energy and life has returned to the field.

Principal Dr. Fr. John P.J. congratulated all the winners and advised all the contestants to keep themselves healthy. He urged them to keep playing with the spirit of sportsmanship.
